She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Crete and completed her specialization in Radiology (Plain Radiology, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) & Interventional radiology at the General Hospital Venizelio – Pananeio in Heraklion & the PAGNI University hospital Crete.
Dr Aikaterini Andrianaki has, also, specialized in Pediatric Radiology at the University Hospital of Heraklion, as well as in Uroradiology at the University Hospital of Trieste, Italy, and also in Bone Metabolism disorders in Children, at the Children’s Health Institute in the Department of Βone and Μineral Μetabolism in Athens.

- In biopsies of the prostate under ultrasound guidance (painlessly) as well as with the Hybrid ultrasound imaging techniques (Fusion imaging).
- In shear-wave and strain ultrasound elastography for liver, breast, thyroid and prostate disorders.
- Fine needle aspiration (FNA) of thyroid nodules, lymph nodes, palpable structures and breast lesions.
- In breast biopsies under ultrasound guidance, as well as with the Hybrid ultrasound imaging techniques (Fusion imaging).
- The ultrasound check for erectile dysfunction and penile injuries, and, also, for the penile implants.
- Contrast-enhanced ultrasound cystography to diagnose vesico-ureteric reflux and urethral diseases in infants and children, a method of imaging without radiation, using ultrasound and a special contrast agent.
- Imaging evaluation of male and female infertility.
- Measuring bone density in children and adults.
- Lipid screening and visualization of visceral fat in adults and children.
- Breast Imaging with Mammography and Ultrasound, as well as, control of breast implants with these techniques.
